The Huntington Beach Pier

At 1,850 feet long, The Huntington Beach Pier is one of the longest piers on the West Coast. Take a stroll along the pier, watch our local surfers, snap a couple Pacific Ocean selfies, and relax as you listen to the waves. You can even dine over the water at the iconic Ruby's Diner out on the pier!

Downtown Huntington Beach

Boutique shopping, vintage collections, charming souvenir shops, surf and bicycle gear, and of course plenty of local eateries and cafes - it's all in HB Downtown , on Main Street and Fifth! Stroll, shop, dine, and visit the beach, for a perfect day!

Also downtown you will find 5th and PCH , a shopping hub with more retailers and restaurants, just steps from the pier.

Bolsa Chica Ecological Preserve

Explore 5 miles of well-kept trails and get acquainted with some local California wildlife! Bolsa Chica is home to hundreds of species of birds, 80 species of fish including some sharks and rays, as well as sea cucumbers, fence lizards, and more! With 1,449 acres, The Bolsa Chica Wetlands is the largest saltwater marsh between Monterey Bay and the Tijuana River Estuary - so make sure to visit!

International Surfing Museum

This local museum packs in the good vibes and interesting surf and skate history and memorabilia into its small space. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and exhibits change regularly. Learn a bit about Huntington Beach and surfing in the early days, take a look at some vintage surf gear, and make sure to visit the world's largest surfboard displayed outside.

Pacific City
