Fall 2019 Events in Southern California

Pumpkin spice, meet sea salt! It's fall in SoCal and along with the cooler weather and earlier sunsets we're looking forward to a whole host of local events, adventures, festivals, and fun! Take a look!

Surf City 10
When: September 21, race begins at 6:30
Where: Huntington Beach

Chase the sun as you run Highway 1! This race takes place on our famous Pacific Coast Highway, a flat course with ocean views and beach town scenery. Choose from 10 mile, 10k, and 5k race options and get ready for a sunset experience like no other. Get more information and register here.

Adams Avenue Street Fair
When: Sept 21-22
Where: Normal Heights, San Diego

If running isn't your thing, why not visit SoCal's largest free two-day music festival? The Adams Avenue Street Fair this year will feature 90 musical acts on 6 stages, 300 arts and crafts booths, 3 beer gardens plus the Craft Beer Taste event, festival foods and more. The SoCal Jazz and Wine Festival
When: Sept 22 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
Where: Orange County Mining Company, Tustin

This classy event includes wine from Red Hill Winery, and outstanding musical performances from vocalist Debbi Ebert, trumpet and flugelhorn artist Tony Guerrero, and The Swing Kittens and their 10 piece band. If you love jazz and swing, make sure to grab a ticket! Tickets and details here...

Corona Del Mar Annual Sandcastle Contest
When: September 29, 10am-4:30pm
Where: Corona Del Mar State Beach

This annual event always produces some amazing works of sand-built art, and with this year's theme of "fantastic sea creatures" we're looking forward to seeing some incredible portrayals of our local wildlife in sand form! Oktoberfest Huntington Beach
When: September 8-November 3, Wednesdays-Sundays
Where: Old World Festival Hall, Huntington Beach

Voted Southern California's best and most diverse Oktoberfest, Oktoberfest HB has been serving up authentic German food and drink, along with music and entertainment since 1978. Come on out Fridays and Saturdays for an adult only experience, or Sundays for Kinderfest, complete with Wiener Dog Races. More information here...

Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational
When: October 5-13
Where: Laguna Beach

Join this 100+ year old painting tradition in beautiful Laguna Beach, a historic painter's community where stunning scenery and artistic skill come together into amazing works of art. San Clemente Seafest
When: October 6, 9:30am-3pm
Where: San Clemente Pier

One of our favorite annual local events, San Clemente's Seafest brings the community together for a street taco challenge competition, surfing competition, business expo, and more! Come join us! More information here...

Irvine Global Village Festival
When: October 12-13 10am-5pm
Where: Orange County Great Park

Now entering its 18th year, Irvine's Global Village Festival has expanded into a 2 day event, offering more art, music, interactivity and more with an expanded Kids Village and, of course, lots and lots of international food! More information here...

The Anaheim Fall Festival
When: October 26, 11am-5pm. Parade follows at 6pm
Where: Center Street Promenade, Anaheim

A local tradition, this festival and parade has brought the community together since 1923! Kids can participate in a costume contest, and the whole family will enjoy the parade. More information here...

Taste of San Clemente
When: November 1
Where: Casino San Clemente

Held annually at the beautiful and historic Casino San Clemente, A Taste of San Clemente is the perfect opportunity to dance the night away to the tunes of cover band Wigs and Ties while sampling Microwbrews and wine from local vineyards. Check out all the details and reserve your tickets here.

Carlsbad Fall Village Faire
When: November 3, 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Where: Carlsbad Village

Carlsbad Village is charming year round and it's no surprise that this event has become the largest one-day street fair in the nation! Join the local community for an old-fashioned pancake breakfast, then browse 750 vendors offering unique items from antiques to handcrafted jewelry, international foods, and more! St. Martin's Lantern Fest HB
When: November 10, 5pm-8pm
Where: Old World Village Huntington Beach

Dana Point Turkey Trot
When: November 22
Where: Dana Point

Dana Point's Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day run in California, and with a scenic route that encompasses beautiful stretches of beach, rugged cliffs, and enchanting coves, it's no wonder!
